Fool Proof Dark Choc Fudge (Erma's)

3 c choc chips
1 can sweetened cond milk
dash salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 c nuts, optional

Melt choc chips, milk, salt. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts, vanilla. Spread on waxed paper lined 8 or 9" pan. Chill 2 hours. Cut into squares. Store covered room temp or freeze.
